Dr Zoe Delaney is a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience supporting a wide range of clients across a broad range of psychological challenges. Dr Delaney has worked extensively in the NHS, helping clients to navigate difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder, health anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship difficulties and bereavement. Dr Delaney also has a special interest in perinatal mental health, offering support to clients during their maternity and birth journeys and the transition to parenthood. She has a wealth of experience in supporting city workers and those experiencing the unique challenges of high-pressured jobs and work demands.
Dr Delaney creates a safe, confidential, and collaborative space for clients to explore their experiences and emotions. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, blending techniques from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), and systemic therapy. She places significant emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, helping clients delve into early life experiences and relationship patterns to better understand their present challenges and emotions.
Dr Delaney’s qualifications include a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London, a world-leading institution recognised for its exceptional training. She also meets BABCP accreditation standards as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, enabling her to provide practical strategies and skills to help clients manage distressing thoughts, emotions, and behaviours effectively.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Delaney is actively involved in research and academic contributions, with a focus on obsessive-compulsive disorder and body dysmorphic disorder. Her commitment to evidence-based care and her warm, nurturing and collaborative style ensures clients receive the highest quality of psychological support tailored to their unique needs.
