Cogntive Behavioural Therapist
With over a decade of clinical experience, Katie Fowler is a highly skilled therapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Her extensive background equips her to support individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem.
Katie’s warm, friendly, and non-judgmental approach creates a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and challenges. She understands the complexities of mental health and tailors her methods to meet her client’s unique needs.
Through CBT, Katie offers a structured framework to help her clients identify and change unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns. This effective approach not only empowers her clients to promote positive mental health whilst providing clear strategies for lasting positive change.
Katie also employs Interpersonal Psychotherapy to explore how relationships impact emotional well-being. IPT can be particularly beneficial for navigating changes in relationships, addressing ongoing disputes, managing social isolation, and processing grief.
Katie believes in working collaboratively with her clients, focusing on actionable steps that extend beyond therapy sessions. Her goal is to equip her clients with the tools they need to create meaningful improvements in your life.
Katie has previously served in a Senior Management position within the NHS as a Highly Specialist CBT Therapist. Alongside her work at London Bridge Therapy, Katie is passionate about sharing her expertise by supervising and tutoring CBT therapists in training at Royal Holloway University London.
