Kate Morgenstern

Integrative & Existential Psychotherapist

Kate Morgenstern is an Integrative Psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She works with adults, offering a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space. Her approach integrates psychodynamic and existential psychotherapy, combining psychological depth and analytical insight with warmth, curiosity, and relational care.

Kate supports individuals experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, personality-related difficulties, and broader questions around meaning, identity, and direction. She has particular experience working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in repeating emotional or relational patterns, helping them understand how past experiences, internal conflicts, and relational dynamics continue to shape present-day difficulties.

Her therapeutic style is relational, reflective, and non-judgemental, offering both compassion and gentle challenge. Kate places strong emphasis on creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship, supporting clients to develop greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and clarity, and to make sense of their experiences in ways that feel empowering and meaningful.

Before retraining as a psychotherapist, Kate held senior roles in banking, fintech, and politics, including work in high-pressure and public-facing environments. She completed her training in integrative and existential psychotherapy at Regent’s University London. This professional background gives her a deep understanding of the demands of leadership, visibility, and performance, and how these pressures can impact mental health, identity, and relationships, often leading to burnout, emotional strain, and a sense of disconnection despite outward success.

Whether clients are navigating a major life transition, experiencing burnout in a demanding role, or questioning their sense of purpose and direction, Kate offers a confidential space to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Her work supports clients in developing a clearer sense of self and moving towards lives that feel more grounded, authentic, and aligned with their values.
